Notable Trees of Central Connecticut Bus Tour!

Notable Trees of Central Connecticut bus tour fundraiser for Hartford County Extension programs. The chief tour guide will be well known tree expert Ed Richardson. To be classified as Notable, a tree must satisfy a number of specified criteria having to do with height, circumference of the trunk and spread of the canopy. Many of the trees on the tour are not only unique but are located on private property and are not normally accessible to the public.  Bus leaves at 9 am from the University of Connecticut, West Hartford campus parking lot, and ends at the same lot around 4 pm. Tickets MUST be purchased in advance. $65 if purchased by September 15th,  $70 after September 15th and before October 15th. Price includes box lunch.
