VEGETABLE DISEASES VEX HOME GARDENERS!

Recent calls to the UConn Home & Garden Education Center indicate that gardeners are seeing a lot of disease problems on their vegetables. New vegetable gardeners especially are concerned about leaf blights on tomatoes, powdery mildew on cucumbers, and grey molds on green beans. The warm, humid weather we’ve been having is perfect for the development of quite a number of plant diseases.  If you need tips to combat disease problems on vegetables, or have any other lawn or garden questions call the UCONN Home & Garden Education Center (toll-free) at 877.486.6271, or visit our website, www.ladybug.uconn.edu
